Basic Compliance Policy
As part of our efforts to fulfill our corporate social responsibility (CSR), EBISTRADE, Inc. has established a basic policy to strengthen compliance.
Based on the following policy, each and every member of the management team and employee will further enhance their sense of ethics and ensure that they act with integrity in compliance with laws, regulations, and social norms.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations
We will comply with domestic and foreign laws, regulations, and internal rules, and will not engage in any illegal activities.
Ethical Conduct
We will respect social norms and sound business rules, and conduct our business operations in a fair and transparent manner.
Each and every one of us will faithfully perform the duties of our responsibilities and will not engage in any fraudulent acts.
Response to Internal Reporting
If any director or employee becomes aware of a violation or suspected violation of domestic or foreign laws, regulations, or internal rules, he or she shall immediately report the matter to the Compliance Reporting Desk.
If an employee, retiree, business partner, or other person reports, inquires, or consults with the Company regarding a violation of laws or regulations, the Company will respond in good faith while protecting the rights of the informant, and will make every effort to ensure that the informant will not suffer any retaliation or disadvantage because of the fact that he or she made the report.
Elimination of Relationships with Antisocial Forces
We will not do business with antisocial forces or groups that threaten social order and safety.
Respect for Human Rights and Prohibition of Discrimination
We will respect the human rights of each individual and each other's diverse values, personalities, and individuality, and will not engage in inhumane treatment, acts that lead to discrimination, or harassment.
We respect international labor standards and do not discriminate in hiring, promotion, wages, education and training, or other employment practices on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or other factors.
Respect for freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
We respect employees' freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining in order to facilitate smooth discussions between labor and management.
Maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace environment
We will comply with laws and regulations related to safety and health, and strive to maintain a safe and healthy workplace environment and prevent self-inflicted injuries and accidents.
Prevention of corruption
We will prohibit corruption and bribery.
We will not provide or offer illegal money or goods to public officials or deemed public officials.
We will also refuse any request to provide illegal money or goods.
Promotion of fair business practices
We will not engage in any conduct that violates antitrust laws, such as bid-rigging, abuse of a superior bargaining position, or resale price maintenance.
Protection of Intellectual Property Rights
We will appropriately protect our own intellectual property, respect intellectual property rights owned by others, and will not use them without permission.
Proper labeling, explanation, and advertising
We will strive to ensure that customers correctly understand the content of our products and services.
We will not mislead consumers into believing that our products or services are better or more advantageous than they actually are.
We will not engage in advertising that is discriminatory or misleading, or that is harmful to children.
Recording and Disclosure of Information
Information to be retained shall be properly managed so as not to be falsified or altered, and shall be maintained in a condition that allows accurate disclosure when necessary.
We will also endeavor to correctly disclose information regarding our business activities in accordance with applicable regulations and prevailing business practices.
